Young professional and human rights activist with over 10 years experience working alongside local and national nonprofits in Morocco, including 5 years in international development management in the field of child protection in Morocco and Côte d'Ivoire.
From my experience working alongside frontline workers, local and national NGOs, Morocco's national child protection network, international organisations and experts, I have acquired in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge in terms of child protection systems, family-based care, desinstitutionalisation, foster care, alternative care, right to civil registration, child abuse and exploitation.
My main accomplishments include contributing to a national campaign and improved legislation on civil registration for children in Morocco and the capitalisation of the first government-backed foster care program in Morocco.
I have managed several projects supporting children, women and families in difficult situations in the region of Souss-Massa, supervised +50 national and international staff and volunteers, contributed to both case management and advocacy for children's rights.
I have strong leadership and communications skills, which have contributed to foster sustainable cross-organisational collaboration with and between international organisations (UNICEF, Save the Children, the U.S. MEPI, Family for Every Child, Child Rights Connect, Ambassade de France, UNOPS, and Lumos), national networks and international relations.
Most recently, I worked with IBCR, International Bureau for Children's Rights, as organizational management advisor, reinforcing and strengthening the strategic planning and internal organisation with the Forum of NGOs and Associations supporting Children in Difficulties in Côte d'Ivoire.
