i have over 5 years' experience in the publishing/writing industry, working as everything from an in-house editor to an investigative reporter to a novelist to a medical/technical\general writer to a screenwriter. I've been an independent contractor for 3 years working as a freelance editor (developmental and line editing), writer (fiction and nonfiction), ghostwriter, and copy editor.
I'm able to see the big picture in a piece of writing as well as being diligent about the details. As a novelist, I appreciate the music of language and the importance of tone and character. As a writer of technical material, I recognize the importance of clarity and precision in the writing.
